WE035 - Everything what you wanted to know about Jianshui

😍| Time for Tea! Based on your feedback and suggestions, this time we will take a deeper look at Jianshui teaware (Jianshui Zitao 建水紫陶), one of the four most famous Chinese pottery widely recognized since the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). Together, we will explore not only its manufacturing process and its influence on tea, but also the various factors that determine the functionality and quality of this unique purple clay from Yunnan Province. How do you choose the right Jianshui teapot? How can you recognize imitations and counterfeits? Which teas are best suited to Jianshui pottery? And what role do different teapot shapes and volumes play in tea preparation?

🌱 | During this tea event, we will taste at least 4 different types of tea (shengcha, shucha, hongcha, baicha) to better understand how Jianshui pottery influences their flavor and character. There will be plenty of tea to enjoy, and we're sure you will love it! The event standartly takes 60 minutes, yet, the duration can be extended or shorten upon the negotiation.
