WE034 - Basic tea preparation: gaiwan & teapot?

| Time for tea! This time, we will look at selection of right teaware for the tea ceremony in Yunnan Province. During the event, we will look at different teapots and gaiwans, show how to choose the teaware in the beginning of your tea journey and explain the influence of different teaware on your tea.

| Is better teapot or gaiwan for making the tea? Is working with gaiwan more difficult than teapot? Where it is better to consider porcelain and unglazed teaware for brewing your tea? Which clays provide better results for enhancing the taste of your favourite teas? How to take care of your unglazed teapot over time? Is it necessary to use only one type of tea in your unglazed teaware? What aspects to check before buying teapot?

| During the event, we will drink four tea categories of your choice and practically show you everything what you should know as a tea lover beginning with the tea. During the activity, we will share an exclusive content from Xishuangbanna with some unique photos and videos. The event standartly takes 60 minutes, yet, the duration can be extended or shorten upon the negotiation.

🙏| The entrance fee for the event is 500,- CZK per participant. The maximum number of participants is 6 tea lovers. Please book your seat in advance and make sure to eat beforehand so you can fully enjoy the authentic tea experience.
