WE012 - Archived puer teas: Myths & Reality

| Time for tea! This time, we will look at well-aged teas from Xishuangbanna from 1980s, where will elaborate the evolution of tea quality over long-period of archivation. Special attention will be paid to the history, botany and other aspects determing the well-aged teas.

| What is behind the beauty of well-aged teas? Can any tea age well? And how important is the storage, tea material and other factors for long-term aging? Is there a significant difference between aged sheng puer and aged shu puer? Why a lot of aged teas have unpleasant taste? And how about those aged teas from tea catalogues? Is it worthy or are these just speculative teas?

🍵| During the session we will taste four well-aged sheng puer teas from 1980s to early 2000s and share exclusive content from our recent research trip to Xishuangbanna, including unique photographs and videos from the region.

🙏| The entrance fee for the event is 3000,- CZK. The maximum number of participants is 6 tea lovers. The event will take place with a minimum of 3 tea lovers (1000,- CZK per each participant) or upon negotiation. Please book your seat in advance and make sure to eat beforehand so you can fully enjoy the authentic tea experience.
