WE003 - Tea antropology: tribes & production

| Time for tea! This time, we will look at social-cultural aspects of tea production in Xishuangbanna. Special attention will be paid to the ethnic diversity (tribes, clans and families), local customes (festivals, rituals and tribal products) and other aspects regarding the most populous tribes in Xishuangbanna

| How many tribes lives in Xishuangbanna? What are the differences between lowland and highland tribes? Does every tribe have its language and how people from different clans speak to each other? How aoubt the tribal wars and tea production? What forms of tribal teas you can find in Xishuangbanna? What are the oldest settlements in Xishuangbanna? Why Dai pottery dominated in tea preparation? How about the openness and unusual generosity of Hani people? Why so many clans do not have their self-determination? And how about Jinuo tribe, which was officially recognized as a individual tribe in 1979?

| During the event, we will drink four sheng puer teas from Xishuangbanna and will share an exclusive content from our recent work trip in Xishuangbanna with some unique photos and videos. 

🙏| The entrance fee for the event is 1500,- CZK. The maximum number of participants is 6 tea lovers. The event will take place with a minimum of 3 tea lovers (500,- CZK per each participant) or after negotiation. Please book your seat in advance and make sure to eat beforehand so you can fully enjoy the authentic tea experience.
