WE002 - Tea botany: fauna & flora

| Time for tea! This time, we will look at tea botany and clarify what plants and animals live in Xishuangbanna. Special attention will be paid to various crops (food vs. cash), which influence the aroma and taste of your tea, and other wildlife (insect, amphibians and other wild animals), which you may naturally encounter while going through the tea gardens and tea forets.

| Why is Xishuangbanna often nicknamed as a "Kingdom of Plants and Animals"? How about the tropical rainforests and wild elephants? What is the fragrance of the tea flowers? What is the "strangling" and why you can primarily find it in tropical regions? How about the size of tea trees and their roots? What kind of soil is most suitable for tea trees? Are all tea trees wild and how they are differ from those cultivated/hybrid ones? How about snakes, spiders and other insects in tea gardens? What herbs and edible flowers you may find? And what are the differences between tea leaves and tea trees in Xishuangbanna?

| During the event, we will drink four Yunnan white teas from Xishuangbanna and will share an exclusive content from our recent work trip in Xishuangbanna with some unique photos and videos. 

🙏| The entrance fee for the event is 1500,- CZK. The maximum number of participants is 6 tea lovers. The event will take place with a minimum of 3 tea lovers (500,- CZK per each participant) or after negotiation. Please book your seat in advance and make sure to eat beforehand so you can fully enjoy the authentic tea experience.
