🍵 Tea taste profile and other interesting facts?
This tea provides a distinctive taste of sweet pastry (pudding pies, sponge cakes) and exotic flowers with soft citruses nutty and wild sour fruit tones (Suanduoyi). Unlike like other tea villages from Youle Tea Mountain, we love the degree of floral flavours, smoothness of tea body and refreshing feeling in the aftertaste, which you can more likely find in other tea regions. This tea also presents a short memory from our Autumn work tea trip in 2026 and provides better comparision among different tea gardens within the Youle Tea Mountain (攸乐山).
🌏 Tea origin & production?
This fresh white tea originates from Youle Tea Mountain (攸乐山), one of the lest represented tea regions in Jinghong City (景洪市). Bapo village (巴坡) belongs to one of least known tea villages in Youle and has around 400 people, which are living at the location around 1000 meters above the sea level. Most of the local people are represented by Jinuo tribe (基诺族). Bapo village has very special place in our hearts, since we got married in this village among tea trees in December 2021.
The tea leaves were harvested from ancient tea trees (gushu 古树) above 100 years old across tea gardens close from Bapo village (巴坡) at elevations of approximately 1100 metres above sea level. The Spring harvest of 2026 was carried out by Xingmei's family, who hand-picked and processed the tea into the sheng puer (Shengcha 生茶). The loose tea was then compressed few months later (Q3/2026) and purchased directly from Xingmei during our work trip across Xishuangbanna at the end of 2026.

Due to our ongoing work trip across Xishuangbanna (September-October 2026), the detailed information will be added after our arrival to Europe. This tea recieved a subsidy from the Czech-Xishuangbanna Tea Association (CZEXITEAS), which allow us to provide this tea for more affordable price to promote the local producers.
In case of the pre-orders, please, use the online payments or bank transfers since the amount of tea samples carried back to Europe is very limited.
