TE033 - Tea cult: offer, style & expectation? (21.5. 2026)

| Time for tea! This time, we will compare the difference in tea menu, tea preparation approaches and tea serving between Xishuangbanna and Czechia. Special attention will be paid to tea specilization of tea producers and vendors (micro- and macro- approches), teaware selection (gaiwan, teapot and small tea cups vs. big tea kettle, enamel mug or thermos bottle), serving (self-preparation vs. prepared by tea master) and other aspects regarding the tea setting.

| How often you can encounter teas from whole China and foreign countries in Xishuangbanna? What teas and in which form you may have at restaurants? In what teaware the local people prepare their tea? What does it mean "waking up the tea" (Xingcha 醒茶)? What water temperature is the best for making the tea? What is the "justice cup" (Gongdaobei 公道杯)? How it is used and why local people love it? And why local people prepare their tea with so quick infusions?

| During the event, we will drink four Yunnan sheng puer and will share an exclusive content from our recent work trip in Xishuangbanna with some unique photos and videos. 

🙏| The entrance fee is 450,- CZK. The maximum number of participants is 6 tea lovers. The event will take place with a minimum of 2 tea lovers. Please book your seat in advance and make sure to eat beforehand so you can fully enjoy the authentic tea experience. The event can be repeated some other time upon the negotiation to better fit your needs and expectations.
