🌿 A piece of Jinuo culture from the tea mountains of Xishuangbanna. The traditional Jinuo bag (Jinuo baobao 基诺包包) is a handmade bag with a characteristic wide shoulder strap, traditionally used by local people to carry a variety of everyday essentials. This bag originates from the Jinuo people (基诺族), whose homeland lies in the mountainous areas of Xishuangbanna, particularly Jinuoshan (基诺山), historically also known as Youleshan (攸乐山) – one of the Six Ancient Tea Mountains.

🧵 Each bag is made from 100% natural cotton and primarily combines shades of white, black, red, and blue, colors that can also be found in other traditional Jinuo textiles and clothing. As each piece is handmade, there may be slight variations in color, pattern, size, and craftsmanship – making every bag truly unique. The fabric is pleasant to the touch, the interior is very spacious, and thanks to its reversible design, the bag can be worn on either side. Traditionally, it is a practical accessory used by both women and men.

🎒 Thanks to its lightweight construction and wide shoulder strap, the bag is ideal for everyday use, travelling, and outdoor trips. Its spacious interior provides plenty of room for personal belongings, tea, a thermos, or other essentials. The wide strap helps distribute the weight more comfortably across the shoulder and can be adjusted while carrying the bag to find the most comfortable position.

🫧 We recommend gentle hand washing or washing the bag separately in a washing machine using a hand-wash or delicate cycle. Do not use bleach. To preserve the texture, colors, and character of the fabric, we recommend avoiding ironing.
