🍵 Tea taste profile?
This tea provides a distinctive taste of forest fruit, crunchy peaches and brown sugar with soft sweet honey and spices undertones. The Youle Tea Mountain (攸乐山) belongs to least represented Ancient Tea Mountains in Xishuangbanna due to the significant agricultural land transformation and decline of the total size of the tea gardens in recent decades. Unlike other Ancient Tea Mountains, the Youle teas have slower development of taste and more intense honey-dry hay aftertaste.
This tea is particularly suitable for comparative tea tastings among Six Ancient Tea Mountains and tea lovers with delicate appetite for delicate, softer and sweeter teas. This tea was selected in the late 2026 during our work trip in Xishuangbanna to diversify the selection of Youle teas from different tea gardens.
🌏 Tea origin & production?
This fresh sheng puer tea originates from Youle Mountain (攸乐山), one of the historic Six Ancient Tea Mountains located in Jinghong City (景洪市), Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province. The Luoke village (洛科新寨) belongs to one of the most remote tea villages at the Youle Tea Mountain, where around 40 families lives together.
The tea leaves were harvested from mature tea trees (qiaomu 乔木) below 100 years old across tea gardens close to Luoke (洛科新寨) at elevations of approximately 1200-1400 metres above sea level. The Spring harvest of 2024 was carried out by Yingan, who hand-picked and manually processed the white tea (Yunnan baicha 云南白茶) with minimal machinery interventions (Artisan tea). The loose tea was then compressed year later (Q1/2025) and purchased at the Menghai Tea Expo (September 2026).

Due to our ongoing work trip across Xishuangbanna (September-October 2026), the detailed information will be added after our arrival to Europe. This tea recieved a subsidy from the Czech-Xishuangbanna Tea Association (CZEXITEAS), which allow us to provide this tea for more affordable price to promote the local producers.
In case of the pre-orders, please, use the online payments or bank transfers since the amount of tea samples carried back to Europe is very limited.
